The defect
On certain ambulances, some electronic modules used in the multiplexing system could experience an electrical short circuit.
The risk
A short circuit could result in a fire.
The remedy
Dealers will install a 2 amp. Fuse on the ground wire of the module to eliminate the possibility of overheating. the recall IS expected to begin during april 2006. owners may contact demers at 1-800-363-7591.
