The defect
Certain acc ext-002 motorcycle helmets sizes large and XL fail to conform to the penetration and attenuation requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 218, motorcycle helmets.
The risk
In the event of a crash, the wearer may not be adequately protected, possibly resulting serious injuries.
The remedy
This recall campaign has been superseded by safety recall 07e-083.
