The defect
Certain tbei ox and j-craft dump bodies equipped with watson and chalin sl-1190 and sl-0890 steerable suspensions. these dump bodies are manufactured to be integrated into the frame of various heavy duty trucks. the lower cast arms could fracture which could affect the suspension's ability to lift the axle when it's not needed.
The risk
Should the suspension's lower cast arms fail, a vehicle crash could occur.
The remedy
Tbei will notify owners and the lower aluminum trailer arm will be replaced free of charge. the recall began on december 13, 2007. owners can contact tbei at 952-941-0752.
