The defect
Triple e IS recalling certain model year 2010 regency GT 29DB and gt28db motorhomes equipped with flexsteel easy-bed sofa for failing to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 207, "seating system." the easy bed sofa was manufactured without a rollover safety locking latch.
The risk
In the event of a motor vehicle roll over the easy bed may want to open, with the weight of a seat belted occupant causing the occupant to be injured from the seat belt.
The remedy
Dealers will install a locking latch on the easy bed sofa free of charge. the safety recall began on on march 12, 2010. owners may contact triple e at 204-325-4361.
