Reported Feb 22, 2013171 vehicles affectedDaimler Buses North AmericaBuilt Feb 1, 2012 – Oct 1, 2012

The defect

Daimler Buses North America (DBNA) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Orion VII transit buses equipped with disc brakes using MGM brake components. The risk

Overheated brake components could result in a fire.

The remedy

DBNA will notify owners and will replace the affected brake chambers, free of charge. The safety recall began on March 7, 2013. Owners may contact Daimler Buses North America at 1-800-882-8054.
