Equipment › Mechanical › Integrated jack/leveler/stabilizer

Reported Jul 3, 1979150 vehicles affectedCOLEMAN CO., INC.

The defect

The involved jack bracket assemblies were improperly manufactured. These units were supplied with a six-inch diameter plate-type foot of new design, instead of the folding tripod bottom type assembly. The plate-type foot permits the jack to move or creep while supporting the camper. This could cause the jack assembly to collapse.
