The defect

The involved tires fail to conform to the high speed requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 109, "new pneumatic tires". The non-conformity exists because these tires developed separations in the shoulder area during usage.

The remedy

Dealer will replace recalled tires without charge within 60 days of recall notification.
