The defect
The involved tires fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 109, "new pneumatic tires". The non-conformity exists because these tires may develop flex breaks or separations in the sidewall area.
The remedy
The dealer will replace recalled tires without charge within 60 days of recall notification.
