The defect
The cruise control vacuum solenoid valves may malfunction at any time the engine IS running and the cruise control IS engaged and cause unexpected engine acceleration. consequence of defect: loss of accelerator control could result in a vehicle crash without prior warning.
The remedy
Install and relocate a new cruise control servo assembly.
