The defect

Rubber gasoline hose used to accommodate relocation of the fuel tank IS subject to deterioration over time.

The risk

A leak in a deteriorated rubber line could spray gasolineunderneath the chassis and result in an undercarriage fire.

The remedy

Replace rubber gasoline line with nylon line.
