The defect

Steering arms crack and break from pressures exerted in operations in urban traffic environemnts.

The risk

Cracked and broken steering arms can result in loss ofsteering control without warning and possible vehicle accident.

The remedy

Notification will be sent to manufacturers and users to replace the steering arm after ten years service.
