The defect

The parking brake drum attachment bolts may loosen and cause a driveline lockup condition when the bus IS stopped or almost stopped.

The risk

Driveline lock-up could cause loss of vehicle controlwithout prior notice, and result in a vehicle crash.

The remedy

Remove all of the parking brake drum bolts, apply a retaining compound to new bolts, and torque the new bolts to specification.
