The defect

The fasteners securing the compressed natural gas (CNG) roof-mounted fuel tank lids were not properly installed and/or maintained.

The risk

If the fasteners fail to hold the fuel tank lids properly, the lids would come off during the operation of the vehicle increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.

The remedy

Chance coach IS developing a modification kit to enhance the fastening of the roof fuel tank. until that kit IS available, owners should make sure that the fuel tank IS securely fastened.
