The defect

Equipment description: aftermarket gasoline fuel injectors date-coded 0357 through 0597. a crack in the steel allows fuel to leak from the injector via the crimp holes.

The risk

If an ignition source IS present, fuel leakage can result in an engine fire.

The remedy

Fuel injectors are being returned to sagem for testing.
