The defect
Equipment description: level I adapters (110V charging cables) for use as a back-up power supply for 1998 EV plus honda vehicles. an open in the circuit wiring was caused by an overheating of a mechanical connection.
The risk
An electrical short and possible fire could occur due to this condition.
The remedy
Replacement cables were mailed to owner.
