The defect

Vehicle description: motor home chassis. the rear brake caliper can contact the spring seat as the brake pads wear.

The risk

This can result in reduced braking increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

The remedy

Dealers will install offset u-bolts to provide additional clearance between the brake caliper and the spring seat.
