The defect

Vehicle description: 45' composite platform trailers having a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 35,000 pounds. the top and/or bottom flanges of the trailer's main beams do not meet material specifications.

The risk

The flanges could break, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash or loss of control of the trailer.

The remedy

Dealers will repair these trailers.
