The defect

Equipment description: lp gas operated ranges. the manifold assembly can, under certain operating conditions, allow for gas leakage at the gasket surface between the oven control and manifold.

The risk

If an ignition source IS present, fuel leakage can result in a fire.

The remedy

Dealers will install a new manifold assembly.
