The defect

Vehicle description: motorcycles. the primary driven gear backing plate (clutch basket) can break causing the engine components to lock up.

The risk

This condition can lead to rear wheel lock up increasing the risk of a vehicle crash or personal injury.

The remedy

Dealers will install a new primary driven gear and related parts.
