Bison Coach, LLC (Bison) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Premiere, Silverado, Laredo, Ranger, Trail Hand, and Trail Boss gooseneck horse trailers. The affected trailers do not have an inline fuse installed on the battery cable.
Risk and remedy
Risk
In the event of an electrical short circuit, the battery wiring could overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Bison has notified owners, and dealers will install a 30-amp inline fuse on the battery cable, free of charge. The recall began on September 15, 2016. Owners may contact Bison customer service at 1-574-658-4161. Bison's number for this recall is 9010.

- 10151864This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician for a Service Engine Soon light with a Diagnostic Trouble code P0300 set. There may be a rough running engine associated with this concern. If service information diagnostics have been completed and there is still no trouble found, the technician is to inspect for a possible terminal tension concern on the ignition coil power feed for the cause of the rough running engine and or the P0300. For the Service Engine Soon light or traction control lamp concern check the X2 connector of the under hood fuse block for poor pin retention.
