Risk
The darker windscreen can inhibit the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the windscreen, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 10, 2018. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

Risk and remedy
Risk
If the rear reflex reflectors are obscured from view, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
BMW will notify owners, and dealers will install reflectors on the cases or for the case mounts, an additional bracket with rear reflex reflectors, free of charge. The recall began October 16, 2017. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

While driving down the road going 55 mph I let off of the throttle to slow down before entering a slower speed area and the bike turned off. The bike will not idle without having the throttle on. I had to keep the throttle on for the remainder of my trip or the bike will immediately drop in rpms and turn off.
- Unknown or other
Clutch lever snaps off super easily and broke when was brought in to fast. Made of cheap materials that break and leave sharp edges exposed. Caused motorcycle to lurch forward and fall over. And now there are damages to broken clutch lever as well as damage to bar weight on left hand side and passenger left peg. Effects safe operation of motorcycle and left with easy breaking points according to dealer.

- 10151350Coolant pump drain hose. Details The coolant pump is fitted with a radial shaft seal on the oil-side and on the coolant-side is a mechanical seal. Mechanical seals are reliable an durable, yet for technical reasons, they always exhibit minor seepage. The seepage amount is considered to be within permissible limits if the coolant does not need to be topped up between service intervals. The drain hole (arrow in the figure) of the coolant pump is in plain view. Even small, inevitable seepage is noticed and often perceived to be a faulty coolant pump. In many such cases, fault-free coolant pumps are replaced. In order to reduce misdiagnosis and repeat repairs, a drain hose is retrofitted. The hose diverts the seepage away from the field of view to under the engine. Yet large amounts of leakage that indicate a faulty coolant pump will be noticed.
