  Upon arriving at work I noticed a slight oil drip onto the rear tire and brakes. When I returned home the rear tire had oil around the perimiter and the oil was leaking onto the rear brakes saturating the pads. The leaking was bad enough that I had to put a rag under the tire to keep it off the floor. I took it to an authorized BMW dealer and they replaced the crown bearing, seal, bearing roll, & o-ring. This required 2.5 hrs of shop labor.
