  Recently the anchor clip on the seat belt no longer holds the belt . Dealer told me that they no longer make a replacement. How can manufacturures get away with not making vital safety equipement ?   Recently the anchor clip on the seat belt no longer holds the belt . Dealer told me that they no longer make a replacement. How can manufacturures get away with not making vital safety equipement ? Napa auto parts stores do not carry any after market belt assembly that can replace it. There are no salvage yards in my area that have the belts, besides I do not feel safe using a used belt. All manufactures should make vital components especially when the van IS not even ten years old. The belt prompted my report, but the anti-lock braking system has not worked for three years now. I have had machanics look at it but to no avail. I have locked tires in braking three times since then, twice in the rain. The seat belt really concerns me. *ak

  While applying brakes vehicle would continue to travel, resulting in extended stopping distance. Please provide further. *ak

  When applying the ABS brakes, the brake pedal goes to the floor and the vehicle brakes fail. *ak
