Remedy
Honeywell will replace the affected oil filters free of charge. the recall began during november 2007. owners can contact fram customer service toll-free at 1-800-890-2075.
Certain replacement fuel filters, fram brand name p/n g3727, with date codes x52911 through x60801 sequentially or x600141 and a mexico country or origin marking on the fuel filter housing manufactured from october 18, 2005, through march 21, 2006, sold for use on the vehicles listed above and on certain school buses. This condition may cause an inadequate seal at the connection, potentially leading to a fuel leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
Remedy
Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. the recall began on october 18, 2006. owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (option 1).

The windshield wipers on my 95 c1500 works randomly at best. The pump for the fluid also only works some of the time. Some times I'll turn of the wipers and it will take up to a minute for them to start working,other times they work fine and then still other times they don't work at all. The contact stated that the tread on the front driver side tire separated from the belt of the tire. The contact notified the manufacturer of the recall associated with nhtsa campaign ID number 06t027000 (tires: tread/belt), and was informed that the tires were not made within the time frame of the recall. The contact expressed concern because the manufacturer also stated that they did not actually manufacture the tires, and were not responsible for the failure. I called the local dealer, lakeside chevy, spoke with gary at the service department, found out my truck has not been through the recall and he failed to acknowledge this recall, saying that I had to pay $95.00 approx., to get it fixed. I'D like to ask for your help determining if this needs to be repaired by the manufacturer and if such, where I need to take it. Thanks. dt

I talked to a friend at work with a 95' tahoe that had the same problem happen to him in a rainstorm and he told me that there was a recall on a module that controls the windshield wipers. I contacted a dealer to come in and get it fixed and he told me that my vehicle had no recall for the module. I also talked to another person who had two 95' trucks that had the same problem and he had to also pay for the module himself because there was not recall for his truck. this IS a very dangerous situation when your wipers don't work.*ak

Within the first few months of owning my truck I noticed the frame was bending and caving into my cab I notified dealer and had been informed my frame was broke, so dealer took full responsibility of the repair bill. about 8 months after that IS when I began to notice the same problem but this time the problem was getting worse real fast and before I realized it was effecting the protective outer liner of the gas tank, so now not only im I concered about my familys safety but others as well. this time I made dealer aware of the problem and he took the truck to one of his own shops and they told him the frame was not repairable it needed to be replaced all together. meanwhile I was reviewing my contract and came across my vin number and number of cyclinders IS in correct and I also purchased an extended warranty that was never valid because this vehicle had prior alterations done to it by dealership.*ak
