Walmart purchased and installed douglas xtra-trac II tire @ odometer 141428, .. 8 oct 15, sidewall failed at odometer 146154, 04 june 16. All traveled mileage was improved highway. Sidewall failure occurred upon entering highway from sidestreet/stopsign and, as there was no oncoming traffic, entrance speed was minimal (15 mph at most est) enabling driver (myself, disabled tag) to place the vehicle in reverse and simply back up onto the sidestreet just departed from in order to change the failed tire, installing the spare. Walmart did swap out the failed douglas with a goodyear at no cost. I had purchased roadhazard protection on the original purchase date.
