On certain long wheel base vehicles which were modified by accubuilt, the park brake cable could lose tension.
Risk and remedy
Risk
Should this cable fail, the park brake will not adequately hold the vehicle in all circumstances, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Accubuilt will replace the park brake cable on these modified vehicles. the recall began on february 26, 2007. this recall only pertains to daimlerchrysler vehicles converted by accubuilt. owners may contact accubuilt at 1-888-324-7895.

Previously just filed complaint under power train heading regarding shifter stuck in park issue. informed by supervisor at chrysler recall center that "looking into issues & filing a complaint on such issues should be done on the chrysler website, not on nhtsa.gov because they're not a reliable and trustworthy site!" seriously, because I was pretty much told like everyone else with this issue "it's my problem" .

Vehicle was stationary, started vehicle, foot on brake, vehicle shifter would not disengage from park. now what ? could find no open recalls on issue, just lots of complaints about exact same problem and a few references to a k 39 (recall ?) please investigate and initiate a fix for this.

Vehicle stuck in park, researched via web found common problems for chrysler vehicles 2007 and prior. Called dealership m morning was told yes that IS probably the problem 350.00 repair. Called chrysler to try and get help as this defect IS not a owner caused issued its a defective part. Was told 2 business days for contact back. Called 2ND day told my # listed was incorrect "which it was not" they read it back to me. Gave new # left multiple voicemails on case mgrs phone with both #'s to reach. Called again today was told case closed couldn't reach me bad phone # listed. Told them that was incorrect they said sorry had to open new case and wait again for a new case manager to review. Obvious run around for a "known" issue with there vehicles. Tons of complaints on the web about this very surprised they have not stepped up to the plate to recall. Also surprised a class action has not been brought against them as of yet.... Hope you have many complaints just like this one so maybe you can help get something done. *Tr

Mopar offers an alternative product (82213192) which is a water based product approved for sale in the aforementioned states.~ ~ Please inform the customer & your prep dept that spraying excessive amounts of the fabric protector on load floors will result in the breaking down of the adhesive (glue) that is used to create the bond between the fabric (carpet) and the load floor. This will apply to any vehicles equipped with rear load floors such as WK, WD, PM, MK, KA, KK. The carpet will appear to be loose, wrinkly, or bunch up~

- 10136933Part Description: Short Runner Valve (Actuator) Issue Description: Issue 1~ JC,JS '08-09MY 3.5L only~ Caution - Do not replace the intake manifold for a short runner valve (SRV) fault (P1004 / P2008 / P2016 / P2017) or for a manifold tuning valve (MTV) fault (P1005 / P2077 / P2078). Instead follow the service procedure to investigate P codes associated with diagnosis of the SRV or MTV, then cycle the actuator using a diagnostic tool and verify that the PWM output is 50 (+ 2%) de-energized and 80 (+ 2 %) energized. If no problems observed, then idle the vehicle and verify the correct PWM output (50 + 2% PWM). Replace the actuator if you do not get the desired output. Issue 2~ If the SRV actuator or intake manifold is being replaced for a P1004 Short Runner Valve Performance fault code and the vehicle was built prior to 2/5/07 , technicians must complete the module reflash and verification test per TSB 18-003-07 REV. A to ensure the parts need to be replaced. Please reference TSB 18-003-07 REV. A for specific details on the procedure.
