While driving on a wet road the serpentine belt flew off the pulleys. This made the power steering pump, alternator, water pump and the air conditioning system to all become unable to work in an immediate fashion. This problem appears to happen often; meaning several times a year to many caravan owners. My mechanic said his best advice was to not drive in wet or snowy conditions. This IS a manufacturers defect that chrysler should make right by installing a belt guard to hold the belt in place.
