In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-574-535-2100, or Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information. This could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. the heat build up from the exhaust can also result in a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the trailer to verify the furnace exhaust IS present and install one if necessary free of charge. the safety recall began on august 26, 2011. owners may contact dutchmen at 1-574-537-0700.

The contact stated the furnace exhaust duct was not installed during production and the exhaust fumes entered the vehicle. Currently the vehicle was being inspected by an authorized dealer. The contact had potential health concerns related to the carbon dioxide. The manufacturer was not notified of the defect. there was no failure mileage.
