10234122As per recall 23V100. Mercedes-Benz AG (MBAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Sprinter (907 platform) vehicles, the fuse layout of the interior blower motor might not meet the requirements for prolonged operation at the highest blower setting. Influenced by certain premises, such as ambient and assembly space temperatures as well as usage, this could lead to an increase of the transitional resistance between fuse and fuse holder and thus, to a limit-exceeding heat development in the area of the fuse holder. Consequently, a risk of fire during operation and a risk of injury cannot be ruled out.
10228683According to the Interim Recall Notice Received by Mercedes-Benz concerning 22V796: "Mercedes-Benz AG has determined that on certain Sprinter vehicles, a component of the park lock system might wear extraordinarily due to specific driver parking practices and impair safe parking of the vehicle. If the vehicle is not properly secured in accordance with parking instructions in the operator's manual (including usage of the parking brake), it cannot be ruled out that the vehicle might roll away from its parked position under certain circumstances. Thus, the risk of an accident could increase. The driver will not receive a warning due to the nature of the failure mechanism. It is important that the driver ensures that the manual parking brake is engaged to adequately secure the vehicle against rolling away. Additionally, the parking level "P" is only to be inserted when the vehicle is completely stationary. The customer can find precise information on the parking process and on correct vehicle securing in their operator manual. Owners who notice any issues with the automatic transmission park lock function may contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz service partner immediately and have an appointment arranged for the vehicle to be inspected."
10227784Per FCA recall 22V759: FCA US has decided that certain vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 106 - Brake hoses. Constriction requirement states, "Except for that part of an end fitting which does not contain hose, every inside diameter of any section of a hydraulic brake hose assembly shall be not less than 64 percent of the nominal inside diameter of the brake hose." Brake hoses that have an out of specification orifice diameter have an inside diameter that is less than the 64 percent requirement.
10224359*Notice* This was received by Mercedes-Benz Canada - This was a recall conducted in Canada by Mercedes-Benz. To Forest River's knowledge, only vehicles manufactured and shipped into Canada are affected. According to Mercedes-Benz AG Group (MBAG): Mercedes-Benz AG Group (MBAG) has determined that on certain MY 2019-2020 Sprinter vehicles with diesel engines, the control unit software may not meet OBD functionality specifications. In the potentially affected vehicles, several OBD diagnostics and functions of the engine control unit, transmission control unit, and dosing control unit might not meet OBD functionality specifications. In case of the described issue, there is no impact on emissions, safety or drivability. There are no specific precautions to be taken with respect to the subject issue until the corrective measures are implemented.
10217931MBAG Recall 22V360 has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the communication module's SIM card might become disabled and prevent a connection with a mobile phone network. In this case, the manual as well as the automatic eCall function would not be available, which could preclude or delay the arrival of emergency responders. This might increase the risk of an injury following an emergency event. The supplier of the SIM card will update the SIM profile of the communication modules on the affected vehicles. This update is planned to be performed over-the-air with no workshop visit being required. If the over-the-air update cannot be successfully completed, the customer will be notified and advised to visit an authorized dealer to have the update performed.
10211681This is a Mercedes-Benz Recall that Forest River is passing through. Forest River is not conducting any campaign separately other than notifying our owners and dealers of the Mercedes-Benz Campaign 21V055. USA: 178 Vehicles MBAG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the software design of the communication module may fail to communicate the correct vehicle's location for the emergency call system ("eCall") in the event of a crash. Depending on the crash scenario, a temporary drop in the on-board electrical voltage system may occur. If this occurs, the wrong location may be transmitted during an eCall. As a result, the arrival of emergency responders could be delayed, which could increase the risk of injury.
10208119The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) on your vehicle may fail prematurely. A high pressure fuel pump failure may introduce internally failed component debris into the fuel system potentially causing fuel starvation. Vehicle occupants may notice a Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminating, a fuel leak, abnormal engine noise, or a change in drive quality. Fuel starvation may result in an unexpected loss of motive power, which can increase the risk of a vehicle crash without prior warning The remedy for this condition is not currently available. We are making every effort to finalize the remedy as quickly as possible, and will service your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor) when the remedy is available.
10208118MBAG was notified of customer complaints claiming a van had "rolled away" after the driver had selected the Park ("P") gear position and P was displayed to the driver in the instrument cluster. MBAG confirmed that if the vehicle is not properly secured in accordance with the parking instructions in the vehicle Operator's Manual, in particular by always engaging the parking brake after shifting to P, the vehicle could roll from its parked position, which could increase the risk of a crash. Always secure the van in accordance with the instructions in the Operator's Manual.
10202802Mercedes-Benz AG (MBAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner vans, has determined that the software of the MBUX multimedia system might not meet specifications. Under very specific conditions, the MBUX multimedia system might not start and the display might remain black, or could reboot unintentionally after 50 seconds of initial startup. Accordingly, the rearview camera image might not be displayed or the display might be interrupted which could increase a risk of a crash or injury.
10198697Attached is the Final Notification from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz AG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles the retaining washer on the bolt connecting the brake pedal to its bearing block may loosen over time. If the retaining washer loosens, over time it could detach from the bolt. In the worst-case scenario and with ongoing use of the brake pedal, the bolt may slip out of the bearing block on one side. If this occurs, the brake light switch may become permanently activated, even when the brake pedal is not pressed. If the braking lights were permanently illuminated it would not be possible for following traffic to determine the intention of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. As soon as the bolt has slipped out of the bearing block on one side, the driver may notice the brake pedal to feel as if it is moving in a circular formation when being depressed. Owners who notice any issues with the mount of brake pedal on bearing block may contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz service partner immediately and have an appointment arranged for the vehicle to be inspected.

10191545Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Sprinter vans, has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain Model Year 2019 - 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles. MBAG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the software design of the communication module may fail to communicate the correct vehicle's location for the emergency call system ("eCall") in the event of a crash. Depending on the crash scenario, a temporary drop in the on-board electrical voltage system may occur.
10189519As per Mercedes Interim Recall Notice 21V042, one or more of the rear-wheel speed sensors may experience an electrical failure, which potentially could lead to a disablement of the Electronic Stability Control control unit functions. If ESP control unit functions are disabled, vehicle driving stability may be impacted under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.
10185508As per Mercedes-Benz Recall 2020-545; MBAG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the hydraulic power steering return line hoses might detach at their connection points under certain operating conditions, which could cause hydraulic fluid to leak, resulting in the loss of power steering assist. If the hydraulic power steering hose detaches, the driver will still have manual steering functionality, but increased steering effort will be needed, particularly at low speeds. Sudden loss of power steering assist as well as the loss of hydraulic steering fluid to the road surface may increase the risk of a crash.
10185507As per Mercedes-Benz Recall 2020-545; Mercedes-Benz AG has determined that on certain vehicles, the wiring harness for the telematics control unit could get stuck between the brake light switch and the brake pedal. If this happens, the brake lights could remain on. Additionally, the vehicle could be started and could be shifted into gear without the need to press the brake pedal. It is also possible that if a driver exits the vehicle through the cargo compartment, the transmission may not shift to Park automatically. This could result in unintended vehicle movement. A vehicle that moves unexpectedly could create the risk of a crash. Brake lights that do not work properly could result in road users being confused of the driver's intentions, and increase the risk of a crash.
10181762An intermittent connection may occur between the connector block of the electronic control unit (ECU) and the connector pins for the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wiring harness. The SRS may detect resistance, which could lead to warning lights illuminating on the instrument cluster.
