These trailers may have incorrect Federal Certification labels with overstated gross axle weight ratings (GAWR) and/or gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR). Risk and remedy
Risk
If the GAWR and/or GVWR limits are overstated, the driver may overload the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
East will notify owners, and will supply a new Certification Label and mounting rivets, free of charge. The recall began on July 1, 2016. Owners may contact East customer service at 1-330-325-8204.
