Remedy
Dealers will replace the gas strut with a standard locking mechanism, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 11, 2024. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.
Endera Motors (Endera) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Endera school buses. The emergency exit label operating instructions lettering is too small and may be difficult to read. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

Emergency exit labels that are difficult to read can prevent or delay the use of the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Endera will replace the emergency exit label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 11, 2024. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.
Endera Motors (Endera) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Endera school buses. The seat assembly may have been installed without reinforcing washers on the floor anchorage bolt. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 222, "School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection."
Risk and remedy
Risk
Without reinforcement, the seat assembly anchorage can detach, allowing the seat to move during a crash and increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and install the reinforcing washers to the floor bolts, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 11, 2024. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.

The emergency exit instructions on the drivers side exit door failed to meet the font height requirement of 1 cm, measured at 0.35 cm, increasing the risk of injury during an emergency egress situation.

- 11011011It has been determined that 2021-2024 Endera SRW School Bus may not comply with lap and shoulder belt assembly anchorage loadings requirement specified by FMVSS 222, School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection. The root cause was a vehicle mis-build condition where a washer was omitted that is part of the seat belt anchorage assembly.
