Certain travel trailers may have been equipped with improperly constructed spare tire support brackets that cause the spare tire to hang too low to the ground.
Risk and remedy
Risk
If the spare tire contacts the ground it can break away from its support, creating a road hazard which may result in vehicle damage and/or personal injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and relocate the spare tire and carrier to allow sufficient ground clearance free of charge. the recall began on october 31, 2006. owners may contact fleetwood at 800-445-3307.

Speed around 50 on divided four lane highway heard loud explosion felt vibration pulled over goodyear marathon st205/75r14 bl right rear tire had exploded shreaded tire pulled over right away no real damage to trailer had only 750 miles on it proper inflation put on spare bought new tire on way home I 95 going 70 felt bad vibration pulled over found right front tire had big bulge in tread could see steel belts looks like it was at the end of belt where it overlapped in tire tread near the edge this was 344 miles from where other tire went bad these tires are kept covered no cracking or dry rot good even tread depth proper inflation no unusual wear level tread no toe out or in chamber good load range was c travel trailer only weights 3000 empty checked tire pressure before I left to go home paid 97 dollars per tire before fees would expect better from goodyear but there made in china never again u s a only next time with only a little over a thousand miles on tires big let down dot numbers 2VKC vlhr2615 on receipt/ 2VKC vlhv 5115 on tire/ bought at walmart still have second tire turned in first
