11007799According to FCA Recall 66B/24V436: "The radio software on your vehicle may prevent the rearview camera signal from passing through to the media screen. The vehicle operator will notice that the rearview image is not displayed if attempting to reference the image while backing. A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash."
11002540Forest River is mailing the "511762RETRACTION" to customer that had been accidently notified that their vehicle was affected by a Mercedes-Benz Recall 24V166. Forest River reported this communication on 5/24/2024.
11002018According to Ford Customer Service Satisfaction Campaign "24B27": The Variable Displacement Oil Pump (VDOP) in your vehicles engine currently operates at low pressure/capacity during idle conditions.
11000487According to Ford Motor Company, on your vehicle, it may be possible for the parking brake to disengage without pressing the release button. If the parking brake is unintentionally disengaged, it could result in the vehicle rolling away, increasing the risk of crash or injury. This is according to Ford Recall Campaign 24V143.
11000486According to FCA, the driver seat belt buckle may have been built with an incorrect switch sense magnet. Suspect vehicles may incorrectly activate the warning system indicating that the seat belt is unlatched when it is latched. Failure to detect whether an occupant is buckled can impede the seatbelt warning system from deactivating when the belt is properly fastened, potentially leading to reduced seat belt use which can increase the risk of injury in certain crashes.
11000465The routing of the main wiring harness might contact the drive shaft and chafe, which could result in a short circuit, loss of drive power, power steering, and brake control system. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire, and a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash. This is in reference to Mercedes-Benz Recall Campaign 24V166.
11000464According to Ford Motor Company, on your vehicle, it may be possible for the parking brake to disengage without pressing the release button. If the parking brake is unintentionally disengaged, it could result in the vehicle rolling away, increasing the risk of crash or injury. Ford Recall Campaign 24V143
10248975Per FCA Recall 23V799: "The Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) on your vehicle Ill may have a tum signal self-canceling anti-jam component out of specification, an internal short circuit on the SCCM printed circuit board (PCB), and/or a tum signal lever debouncing time limit which is too short. The SCCM in the suspect vehicles may cause the high beams to activate when using the tum signal, the turn signal to activate when using the high beams, and/or an inadvertent tum signal activation. A tum signal which remains active after a completed tum may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. High beam activation when the tum signal switch is activated may result in reduced visibility of oncoming drivers. An inadvertent tum signal activation may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. Any of these conditions may cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.
10245382According to Ford Recall 23V625: "In your vehicles transmission, a casting defect in the transmission upper valve body casting may cause the main control poppet valve to get stuck in the open position. A stuck poppet valve restricts the flow of lubricant to the rear extension housing bushing, resulting in excessive heat generation in the bushing and erosion of the rear seal. This condition leads to transmission fluid leakage, noise, and vibration. The increased vibration may result in a loss of torque retention on the abutment plate bolts. Once the abutment plate bolt torque is compromised, the park actuator may be unable to engage the park pawl into the park gear, which may result in unintended vehicle movement if the parking brake is not applied, increasing the risk of a crash."
10242581According to FCA Campaign 71A: "The transmission in your vehicle may experience an internal dislodging of a snap ring which can cause poor shift quality and not engage the lower gears. The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may also illuminate on the instrument panel cluster."
10239518According to GM Safety Recall N222375270/23V266: "These vehicles may have a brake pressure sensor assembly that allows brake fluid to leak beyond the diaphragm seal into the pressure switch. The brake fluid may seep into the sensor's electrical components and short the brake pressure switch and the associated fuse. If brake fluid shorts the brake pressure switch and the associated fuse, the circuit can generate excessive heat that could result in a fire, increasing the risk of injury. An under-hood fire may occur when the vehicle is off and possibly unattended."
10237625According to GM Safety Recall N222375270 (NHTSA Recall Number TBD): "These vehicles may have a brake pressure sensor assembly that allows brake fluid to leak beyond the diaphragm seal into the pressure switch.
10237132According to FCA Recall 23V060: Your vehicle can experience an engine compartment fire originating from the Generation 1 solid state intake air grid heater relay. An electrical short in the relay can potentially lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage. Customers are advised to not park these vehicles inside of buildings or structures, or near other vehicles until the vehicle has the final repair completed. This is the final notification received from FCA.
