Risk and remedy
Risk
An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the soft start, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 1, 2025. Owners may contact Encore, Mirada, Pursuit and Sportscoach customer service at 1-574-825-8212, Isata customer service at 574-262-3474, Georgetown, FR3, and Sunseeker customer service at 574-206-7600, Ahara and Entrada customer service at 574-264-6664, and V-Cruise, V-RV, V-Sport, and V-Tour customer service at 574-617-6408. The contact owns a 2025 Forest River Viking RV. The contact stated that after parking the RV, it was discovered that there was water leaking from the vehicle. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the water tank had detached from the RV and the leaking water hose was attached to the vehicle.…
The contact owns a 2025 Forest River Viking RV. The contact stated that after parking the RV, it was discovered that there was water leaking from the vehicle. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the water tank had detached from the RV and the leaking water hose was attached to the vehicle. The contact drove back approximately 2 miles and found the 26-gallon water tank in the middle of the road. The water tank was retrieved. The contact stated that the RV was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V729000 (EQUIPMENT). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and determined that the recall was improperly serviced by the dealer.
