Risk and remedy
Risk
The ABS fault light will not activate and the ABS will not function at this wheel position, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will remove and replace the ABS ecu or the ecu will be reprogrammed. owner notification began february 6, 2001. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-800-547-0712.
