Risk and remedy
Risk
The catching of the piston head/plate on the reducing ring may lock up the corresponding front air disc brake which may impact the operator's ability to steer or control the vehicle.
Remedy
Dealers replaced both front air disc brakes service chambers. the vehicle was repaired on september 5, 2008. no further action IS required on this recall.

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 freightliner x line motorhome(na). The contact immediately notified the dealer when he received recall notice # 09v056000, electrical system battery, cables. He was advised that his appointment was scheduled for september of 2009; however, in september he was advised that the recall was no longer being honored since another company purchased the original manufacturer. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 6,903.
