11011761Certain 2023-2025MY GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV), 2023-25MY GV60 (JW1 EV) and 2023-25MY G80 Electrified (RG3 EV) vehicles may exhibit a condition while driving where the 12V battery voltage drops below the operational voltage and the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) places the vehicle in Limp Home mode. The VCU software in this bulletin updates the maximum vehicle speeds for various levels of 12V battery voltage when the vehicle enters Limp Home mode.
11009769Certain GV70 (JK1A) and GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV) vehicles may exhibit a display screen flickering or intermittently going blank. This may be due to the shield width of the coaxial cable being too wide, causing a loose connection. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to adjust the width of the shield using a supplied shield adjustment jig.
11008005This message provides instructions for vehicles experiencing an incomplete Over-The-Air (OTA) AVN software update.
11006845Certain 2024MY GV70 (JK1A) and GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV) vehicles may exhibit delamination of the upper cover on the floor console assembly. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to inspect and, if necessary, replace the floor console assembly.
11006825This bulletin provides information to inspect and replace the front or rear wheel bearing hub assemblies for all Genesis vehicles. This procedure is applicable when noise (whirring, roaring, grinding, rumbling, etc.) is present which gets louder when driving with more speed.
11006103This bulletin provides important special service instructions to properly repair a vehicle that has been diagnosed to require an Integrated Charge Control Unit (ICCU) replacement, such as required for DTC P1A9096 DC to DC related charging concern or for inoperative AC charging. The ICCU fuse accessible from a rear side panel of the EV Battery, should NEVER be replaced by itself prior to receiving an ICCU replacement part. The ICCU fuse should be replaced at the same time as replacing the ICCU part. o The ICCU fuse function is to protect the EV Battery from a damaged ICCU. o DTC P1B77 Power Relay Assy (PRA) damage in the EV Battery can occur when an ICCU fuse is first replaced without also replacing the ICCU together. o Vehicles with P1B77 require Techline approval for field staff involved EV Battery repair and can result in significant additional delay for customers. o Wait to receive ICCU replacement part first before also replacing the ICCU fuse on the rear side of the EV battery. This bulletin also covers how to handle a situation when the nut(s) at the rear of the ICCU fuse falls back into the battery.
11006054Certain GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV), GV60 (JW1 EV), and G80 Electrified (RG3 EV) vehicles may exhibit a condition while charging with a 240V AC (Level 2) charger where the vehicle experiences an interrupted charging session or a lower charging speed. This occurs to prevent potential damage to the charging cable connection. Follow the procedure in this TSB to update the software logic for the Vehicle Charging Management System (VCMS), which initiates a self-restart that allows the vehicle charging to return to full capacity once stabilized.
11002757Certain G80 (RG3), GV70 (JK1), GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV), and GV80 (JX1) vehicles equipped with the AVN 6th Gen system may experience an incomplete OTA update. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to check whether the OTA update completed and, if not, update the AVN 6th Gen system using the applicable supplied USB drive(s).
11000779Certain 2023-2024MY GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV) and 2024MY GV70 (JK1A) vehicles may experience a call button getting stuck/no return condition. Follow the information in this bulletin for replacing the phone call button on the steering wheel.
10253049Genesis applies a Paint Protection Film (PPF) on new vehicles before delivery to dealerships. It provides a barrier between the paint and contaminants, such as rail dust, acid rain, and industrial fallout. In rare cases, the paint can become clouded under the PPF. These spots are the result of moisture trapped between the PPF and the paint.
10252360Certain 2023-2024MY G80 Electrified (RG3 EV), 2023-2024MY GV60 (JW1 EV), and 2023-2024MY GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV) may have a condition of the power down warning light (turtle symbol) with "Power is limited" displayed in the cluster, and possible DTC P0A2F. If you are servicing a vehicle with either of these conditions, follow this bulletin to inspect the EOP.
10252353If you are servicing a vehicle with a missing or damaged insulation cap from the EV Charging Port follow the information in this TSB to replace any missing/damaged insulation cap(s) on certain 2023-24MY GV60 (JW1 EV), G80 Electrified (RG3 EV) and GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV) vehicles. The charging insulation caps are important to ensure proper charger connector orientation and fit to the vehicle charge port.
10251292This bulletin provides instructions to inspect and realign the panoramic sunroof on certain GV70 (JK1A) and GV70 Electrified (JK1A EV) vehicles to reduce excessive wind noise conditions. This bulletin only applies if the excessive wind noise condition has been isolated to the panoramic sunroof.
10249710This bulletin provides information on the Integrated LED Control Unit (ILCU) which is now available as a separate service part from the head lamp assembly for certain G70 (IK), GV70 (JK1), GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV), and GV80 (JX1) vehicles. For G70 (IK) vehicles, the ILCU is called LED Drive Module (LDM). In cases where the head lamp assembly needs replacement due to exterior damage such as a cracked lens, broken housing, etc., it is recommended to replace the head lamp sub-assembly only (not the entire head lamp assembly) and reuse the existing ILCU or LDM if no problem is found with it.
10248074This Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) software package includes the following key VCU updates: Brake light logic update for regenerative braking. o Revised logic to enable brake light actuation during regenerative braking at certain deceleration speeds and during i-Pedal mode driving without the need to press the brake pedal i-Pedal mode operation logic update. Revised i-Pedal operation logic. 12V battery saver logic update allows charging from EV Battery as low as 10% battery SOC (State of Charge) when vehicle is parked.
10247603This bulletin is issued to provide the extended battery diagnosis procedure using GDS. This battery diagnosis function displays the various battery-related faults such as: Internal short circuit Battery deterioration Malfunction of electronic parts Insufficient battery charge Normal battery Charging defect Battery diagnosis uses the battery sensor history saved for the last 30 days and ICU diagnostic communication to track battery state of charge (SOC) and current parasitic draw history.
10243366Certain 2023MY G80 Electrified (RG3 EV), 2023-24MY GV60 (JW1 EV), and 2023-24MY GV70 Electrified (JK1a EV) vehicles may have a condition where low 12V auxiliary battery charging occurs due to an ICCU (Integrated Charge Control Unit) fault and may set the following DTC P1A9096 DC/DC Converter Input Voltage Sensor Fault. When a fault occurs, the vehicle may enter a reduced power mode while various warning lights, an audible chime will sound, and large messaging in the vehicles instrument cluster will appear and instruct the driver to stop the vehicle. The Service Procedure flow to be followed is outlined by the flowchart on Page-3. The ICCU system is to be checked by GDS for DTC P1A9096 and depending on the result, will involve either an ICCU software update, or ICCU and fuse replacement.
