Brakes failed and I had to swerve into oncoming lane to avoid a rear end collision. Pedal went to floor and secondary brake system brought the truck to a stop. investigation showed severe rusting of brake lines throughout the vehicle. the tragedy of this IS that this truck cost over $60,000 and for probably $10 more at the time of manufacture, gm could have installed stainless steel brake lines or at least something with some corrosion treatment. this IS a real ticking time bomb with all of the gm products on the use car lots that are about to rupture their brakes and cause an accident. I remember when honda had to recall for rusty fenders. Hello wake up!!!! *tr
