K2 motor IS recalling 1,921 aftermarket headlamps of various models sold for use on the above listed vehicles. these headlamps are missing the amber side reflex reflector which fails to conform with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Without the amber side reflex reflectors, the lighting visibility may be affected, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.
Remedy
K2 motor will notify owners and offer a full refund. the recall began on decemeber 17, 2008. owners may contact K2 motor at 1-909-839-2992.
Certain e speed racing combination lamps sold as replacement equipment for use on certain passenger vehicles listed above. some combination lamps that are not equipped with amber side reflectors fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.

Remedy

Tl*the contact owns a 1994 GMC pickup truck. After he started the vehicle he leaned back to the rear of the vehicle and he felt something fall apart on the driver front seat. he also noticed that the broken metal bolts on the seat caused the seat to move from side to side. The manufacturer stated that there was nothing they could do due to the age of the vehicle. He also had to replace the windshield wiper motor. The vehicle will be repaired. The failure and current mileage was 133,722.

While driving about 65 mph attempted to switch lanes and there was no power, engine was dead, consumer believed that it could have been caused by the fuel pump. *ak vehicle was towed and consumer was informed by mechanic that problem could not be duplicated, vehicle then started up, once consumer began to drive the same problem occured.*jb

4-Wheel drive switch failed. Dealer replaced it with a heavier unit which should warm up the oil, enabling 4-wheel drive to engage. *Ak *ML

When applying brakes at 45 mph and above the brakes resist. owner has had the brake pads and shoes replaced three times. Dealer IS aware of problem. *ak

Windshield wipers were on, became inoperative while in middle of rain storm ,will not turn back on, no warning, causing consumer to land inside ditch. Dealer will have to replace whole motor. This defect can result in an accident. *ak
