To inform dealers that the Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) Upgrade Kit (Part No. 69203477) requires a Digital Technician II (DT II) update to enable the additional functionality from the kit. The DT II update (version 24.5.0) is now available to dealers. For any kits that were ordered before February 9th, 2024, instruct the customers to return for their update. The following part numbers are now available to order: 69203477-VHC Upgrade Kit, 50700116A-Long Haul Package (Chrome), 50700117A- Long Haul Package (Black). NOTE: Package part numbers 5070116A and 5070117A no longer include the Vehicle Hold Control kit.

• 10244929SERVICE BULLETIN M1611: MILWAUKEE-EIGHT TRANSMISSION SHIFT DRUM UPDATE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers of a transmission shift drum running change to all variants of the Milwaukee-Eight powertrain. Starting on October 4, 2023 all Milwaukee-Eight CVO, Police, Softail, Touring and Trike models will be assembled using a common shift drum. The new shift drum (Part No. 33900265) is replacing the old shift drum (Part No. 33900172). The new shift drum was developed to include the "D" shaft on the end to interface with the Gear Position Sensor on 2023 CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE) and Road Glide (FLTRXSE). For all other Milwaukee-Eight models, the bearing door has been modified by adding a pocket to accept the "D" shaft of the new shift drum.
• 10242096SERVICE BULLETIN M1600: 2023 MILWAUKEE EIGHT OIL PAN FASTENER CHANGE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that there is a running change for the oil pan fastener on all Milwaukee-Eight powered Softail and Touring models. As of Monday July 31, 2023, Powertrain Operations (PTO) in Menomonee Falls, WI is building all Milwaukee-Eight Softail and Touring powertrain models with new oil pan fasteners (Part No. 12600369). The old fasteners (Part No. 4741A) will still remain available for dealer purchase. The oil pans for the Softail and Touring models were updated to accept the new fastener geometry. Their Part Numbers have been superseded to (-A). Touring will be (Part No. 24400180A) and Softail will be (Part No. 24400208A). The new fastener will not fit with an old oil pan but the old hardware will still be available for dealer purchase. The old fastener CAN be used with a new (-A) oil pans. The fastener torque has not been changed.

• 10238844SERVICE BULLETIN M1589 MILWAUKEE-EIGHT GASKET COLOR DIFFERENCES. Purpose: This bulletin informs dealers that starting on April 26, 2023 with Engine Identification Number (EIN) 1792099421, the Milwaukee-Eight powertrain was being built with neutral colored gaskets. For an unknown period of time, the neutral colored gasket is being used until the supply of black gaskets are reintroduced into production. The visible gaskets are under the lifter covers. Replacing the gaskets for cosmetic reasons is not warrantable.
