• 10188344SERVICE BULLETIN M1328: FUEL FILLER NECK EMISSIONS RECALL 0613. PURPOSE: Harley-Davidson Motor Company has determined that upon exposure to certain types of fuel formulations and/or high ambient temperatures the gas cap may develop a fitment issue between the female threads in the gas tank fill neck and the male threads on the gas cap. This condition may affect the ability of the gas tank and cap assembly to properly seal to perform in compliance with EPA regulations, specifically 40 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 1051.110, governing permeation.
• 10174725SERVICE BULLETIN M1330: 2006-2009 6-SPEED TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT PARTS. PURPOSE: Revision. This bulletin is to inform dealers that replacement 6-speed Cruise Drive transmissions and gear packs having a spur 5th gear will be replaced by 2010 or later assemblies having a helical 5th gear. Installation of the helical gear pack in a vehicle originally equipped with a spur 5th gear causes the speedometer to become inaccurate. The speed indication in the ECM must be configured using Digital Technician II.
• 10153955SERVICE BULLETIN M1485: 2000 - 2017 SOFTAIL - FUEL TANK GASKET. Purpose: Service fuel tanks for Softail motorcycles are now being updated to include a top plate gasket (Part No. 61381-02A) with all new replacement tanks. Harley-Davidson strongly recommends using the new gasket when servicing the fuel tank. The updated gasket has improved sealing of fuel vapors and improved compatibility with fuel that contains ethanol alcohol additives. Motorcycles Affected: 2000 - 2017 Softails, all models excluding FXSTD, FXSTDSE, FXSTDSE2, FXCW and FXCWC.
