Rear brake light switch failed causing leaking of rear master cylinder fluid, loss of rear brake control and associated wiring caught on fire. *tr
- Fuel/propulsion system
Plastic fuel tanks swells. has been replaced several times by harley davidson, however, the tanks are replaced with the same item/part number. after each tank replacement the swelling continues with the new tank. I am concerned that now that I am out of warranty the tank will no longer be replaced and that eventually the swelling will lead to cracking and fuel spillage with a fire or crash resulting. *tr

The plastic gas tank on these bikes swells to the point the covers no longer fit. hoping they don't swell to the point of leaking fuel. *tr
