  Complete transmission failure in 2014. I was informed by the dealer that "the factory does not supply replacement transmissions for this vehicle as the transmissions (aisin) have been nothing but problems and they're having dealers source out rebuilt units from 3RD party suppliers as they're not dealing with it. The truck has since suffered 3 (total) complete transmission failures within 1 year and less than 10,000 miles. factory IS aware of a major power train problem, and have failed to recall, rectify or offer a solution to consumers. 2 unanswered e-mails were sent to john musial, director of hino service operations, requesting assisstance with this matter.

• 10117680SB-15-026 A subject vehicle may exhibit an engine oil leak or engine coolant leaking externally from the engine head gasket sealing area on the exhaust manifold side of the engine. An improved head gasket has been made available as a service part and should be used if replacement of the head gasket is necessary. Improvement of the head gasket includes the addition of rubber seals around the engine oil and engine coolant port holes.

• 10116021TB-04-07 An engineering change in connecting rods was made from a stud with nuts to fasten the cap, to a bolt only to fasten the cap. The connecting rods with the stud and nuts are no longer available. The two different styles are interchangeable however the bearings are not. The bearing ?tang? was relocated as well as a difference in the width.
