On certain travel trailers, the converter neutral wire was connected to the bonding (ground) bar instead of the neutral bar.
This could lead to a situation with a shock hazard increasing the risk of personal injury.
Dealers will remove the neutral wire from the bonding bar and install it on the neutral bar, both of which are located in the load center of the vehicle. the recall began on december 14, 2007. owners may contact monaco at 1-800-685-6545.

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 hallmark industries (na) trailer. while driving at least 70 mph, the contact heard a squeaking noise. he noticed extensive wear on the tires. the rear leaf spring mount of the rear axle of the driver's side tire was completely detached from the vehicle. the axle was dangling from the leaf spring mount. a trailer service dealer repaired the failures. the failure mileage was not applicable.
I own a small rv rental company with 4 travel trailers. All of these trailers were manufactured by r-vision, a subsidiary of monacocoach corp. The gray/black water tank mounts are defective on the SE units and the tanks will fall out from under the units when they are half full and above. The metal angle iron(4' lengths) also come loose and can fall out onto the road. I have 3 different models, max-sport, trailcruiser, and trail-lite, and all three have had failures. I spoke to an r-vision dealer and he told me that they have a fix for this so it IS something that IS more common than just my units. I contacted monaco last month regarding this safety issue and they told me they didn't see a pattern so would not address the issue. They did offer to pay for one of my repairs. I have totally redone the support system for the tanks in my company owned trailers but monaco has still not addressed this issue. This IS, in my opinion a very serious matter and someone will be seriously injured or killed by this defect if it IS not corrected. The water tanks can hold 30-35 gallons of water and weigh 250lbs. When full, so hitting one would be like hitting a boulder. The metal support brackets are 1"X1" angle iron four feet long and could go right through a windshield. Some of the supports are spot welded in place while others are screwed in place with 1" self tapping screws. These rattle loose and fall out in the street causing a tire damage danger. *Tr updated 11/17/08. *Jb
