I noticed paint peeling several years ago. It has progressively gotten worse. It is peeling in more places than can easily be repaired. A quick internet search indicates there is a class action lawsuit for this very problem. My vehicle is the affected white color. This significantly reduces the value of my low mileage vehicle.
I was coming to a stop at a curb and was braking to reduce speed and stop. With my foot in the brake the car began accelerating and lunged forward. I quickly pulled my foot off the brake and pressed the brake again and this time it stopped. This is the second time this has happened in this car. This behavior is extremely unsafe and makes me reluctant to drive the car again. Had someone or something been in my direct path I would have certainly hit it. I have not been able to reproduce the issue and it has not been inspected by a mechanic at this point. There were no warning lights, sensors, or sounds.

After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin: 16-002. The paint started peeling off of my car slowly in small sections down both sides of my hatchback rear window over 2 years ago I took it into my local Honda dealership last year and was told there was no recall even though I find evidence to the contrary online. Many other white pearl colored Honda owners are having the same issue. I was told there may be a factory warranty extension, but when I called to inquire, I was told my car was not part of that extension. Subsequently two years later, the paint is now peeled, completely off the entire surround of the back glass along with a 6 x 7“ patch Across the bottom of hatch door on right hand side of release handle. Also with a bubbling up of double that size, seemingly ready to start peeling.
I have a 2015 Honda Accord Crosstour, that was purchased in June 2022and since November 2022 , every few attempts, the car fails to start and, at times, grinds. This is a known problem under Honda Service Bulletin 16-002. I expect for the problem to be fixed and it has not. The starter was replaced, and it is still doing it. There is a second part to attempt to fix the problem, but Honda will not do it. Unfortunately, Honda has not been forced to address this problem and make customers whole fully. I have been stranded several times with two young children waiting for the car to start. Sometimes it starts, and sometimes it doesn't. As an owner of 3 Hondas, I will never buy another Honda again. I feel duped and defrauded.
The contact owns a 2015 Honda Crosstour. The contact stated that after purchasing the vehicle, there was an abnormal sound while starting the vehicle. Recently, twice while parked at a standstill my car has displayed the 'FCW System Failed' message. It seems as if it has disabled the FCW, LDW and ABS system. It clears sometimes when the car is turned off and then back on. But the initial cause of the issue is currently eluding the auto shop as its hard to reproduce.
I have a push to start and the vehicle constantly has issues when attempting to start it. Typical a starter-related grinding noise. It IS not user error because when I get IS serviced at honda they would frequently queation why the issue was happening. Its an ongoing issues since I purcahsed it from great falls honda in mt.
April 24TH I noticed the paint bubbling up on the roof of the car. Contacted the dealership about the problems and they agreed to paint the affected area under a " in good faith " where they paid 70% and we paid 30%. A month or so after the car was returned I found a whole sheet of paint coming off the hatchback. Again they agreed to a in good faith repair. I just was notified that the issues were extended to other areas. At this time the bill IS $1700 this time and $600 for the previous time. The whole car IS still not going to be completely painted. This IS the same paint was on other honda models which were given a extended paint warranty. It IS a white pearl. My feeling IS that this was the last year that this model was produced and that IS why the extended warranty was not given to our vehicle.

Vehicle did not start X2, with typical starter-related grinding noise. Honda has a starter problem in a model year with a documented service campaign for starter problems. Apparently my vin IS not included in the campaign. Service bulletin tsb 16-002
I received a letter informing manufacturer that my airbag may malfunction.

Before 37000 miles the audio system will blink out goes through the restart process at the beginning and sometimes during a call. The light comes on randomly, the dealer advised no known fix.this happens on any road anywhere. 3RD issue the bluetooth system disappears and only radio option appears, all devises must be deleted and added back the bluetooth, this happens randomly as well. The problem IS detected after the car IS parked overnight and start up the next day.
I purchased my 2015 honda cross tour (new) as hold over. My car has 40,000 miles on it, I have serviced my vehicle faithfully. I brought my vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation and was told my tires are completely worn down. This IS my second set of tires. The first set was completely worn down by 20,000, I was then told it was because they were factory tires. I purchased very good tires and was told again they are completely worn down. This IS wrong.
