Both mirrors have corrosion in the reflective surface effecting the drivers ability to see the oncoming traffic approaching from behind which can effect the ability to make an emergency stop or manuver to avoid an accident or get out of a vehicles path that IS unable to stop approaching the driver.

This IS a recall for the 2006 vt600c fuel valve diaphragm part. I receive the recall but the local honda dealer has failed to replace the part saying it IS back ordered. I need this part replaced. star city power sports IS the company in roanoke, va 1-866-275-5144. *tr

Brake failure on 2006 honda vt600. front brakes stick in stop position, preventing repeated breaking. front brake caliper drags on rotor. I need to check brakes and pump them before every ride, but I have been very concerned about my safety. visited dealer on may 24, 2008. service department recommended master cylinder kit, which would be ordered. paid for parts at time of order. during a follow-up call to the dealer, I was told that the brake parts for the vt600 were on "nationwide backorder" and the earliest they could arrive was june 14, 2008. this made me suspect that this brake issue IS a widespread problem. please investigate. *tr

- 10128559Dealer message - On Monday, June 23, 2014, American Honda announced three recalls for various 2001-11 Honda models. As of July 23, 2014, affected VINs have been identified, and service bulletins 14-040, Safety Recall: Accord, Civic, and Others ? Front Passenger?s Airbag Inflator Can Be Over-Pressurized, 14-045, Recall: Front Driver?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity Recall, and 14-046, Recall: Front Passenger?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity have been posted to ISIS. However, due to the large number of affected units, American Honda is still in the process of populating the VIN status inquiry function on iN, which is expected to take several days. When this process is complete, American Honda will notify all dealers again via iN message. Until that time, the existing acknowledgement procedure must be used for all potentially affected vehicles.
