TL* the contact owns a 2015 honda vt750c shadow-aero motorcycle. the contact stated that while driving at 75 mph, the vehicle loss motive power however restarted. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called ridenow powersports ocala (3880 n us hwy 441, ocala, fl 34475, (352) 732-853 however, the motorcycle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated the failure was similar to the failure stated in nhtsa campaign number: 15v439000 (electrical system) and 15v874000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 13,500.

The easiest way to remove it during PDI is to grab the covering with both hands near the top of the steering wheel and pull it toward you, like you see here. The covering comes right off.

Honda has determined that engine vibration may cause the bank angle sensor's wiring to rub on a wire harness connector. Continuous vibration between the bank angle sensor wiring and the wire harness connector may create an open in the bank angle sensor electrical circuit. If an open in the bank angle sensor electrical circuit develops, the engine may stall while riding.
