This defect is due to a printing error on certain pages, including the maintenance schedule. The engine and emissions related maintenance frequency and level (Inspect, Replace or Lubricate) is incomplete in the Owner?s Manual that was provided with the motorcycle. If you do not perform the required scheduled maintenance, due to the Owner?s Manual printing error, the motorcycle may release air pollutants that exceed California and Federal standards.

• 10115757Service news article - To prevent damage during shipping, leather-wrapped steering wheels come with a protective plastic covering. The easiest way to remove it during PDI is to grab the covering with both hands near the top of the steering wheel and pull it toward you, like you see here. The covering comes right off.
