Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Nexo vehicles. The thermally activated pressure relief device (TPRD) may break and cause a hydrogen gas leak, which can result in a fire while parked.

A vehicle fire increases the risk of injury.
Remedy
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is completed. Dealers will replace the TPRD, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed November 8, 2024. Final owner notification letters will be mailed in phases, beginning January 6, 2025. Owners may contact Hyundai Customer Service at 800-633-5151. Hyundai's number for this recall is 269.

- 10252358This bulletin is a reminder to exercise caution when painting the Nexo, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). During the painting processes, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) may enter the fuel cell through openings or micro gaps in the intake or exhaust piping for the fuel cell. VOCs may damage certain components in the fuel cell causing reduced fuel-cell performance. VOC chemicals can harm the fuel cell system's performance. Precaution must be taken to seal openings for the fuel cell system before painting or placing Nexo in a curing oven.

- 10251285This bulletin contains information about the proper removal of the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all models. If the protective cover is not removed correctly, there is a possibility of the rubber insert and rail spring becoming partially separated on the inner side of the wiper blade, which could lead to poor wiping performance and/or possible scratching of the windshield glass. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to properly remove the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all new wiper blades.
