Tl*the contact owns a 2001 isuzu box truck model npr. the vehicle has yks all season radial 235/85/16 tires. the contact stated that the belt failed on the tire, causing the tread to separate from the tire. the failure occurred on june 27, 2007. the tire manufacturer was not available in the drop down menu at the time of this complaint. the current and failure mileages were 147,000.

To start with we got an exaust leak.then on highway lost power pulled over noticed engine on fire. Truck still starts but we will not move it.gas IS leaking on exaust manifold. Smoke IS coming of engine when started. Got towed to a a shop. *jb

I own a 2001 vehicross by isuzu. I bought it new four years ago and have only 21,000 miles on it. The rack alignment on the windows IS starting to mis align and cause fatigue and stress upon the window mechanism. upon coming in contact with an organization of several hundred vehicross enthusiasts I discovered that this type of window failure IS epidemic with this model car. Some of the owners have had multiple failures -- i.e., the windows have been fixed only to fail again, sometimes three or four times. at the moment I have 22,000 miles on the car I have contacted isuzu but they deny there IS a problem. On the other hand I understand there are official documents by isuzu that do recognize this problem. since there was a limited distribution of this particular model car -- somewhere in the area of 4000 plus over a four year period -- it appears the window failure rate IS a high percentage of that total number. I would ask that the department investigate this problem, including investigation of the internal isuzu document mentioned above. if there IS, as it appears, a design flaw in the window mechanism, then there are hundreds of vehicross owners who have improperly been charged to repair it, sometimes multiple times. *Ak ============

NOTE: Effective June 1, 2021, dealers/service centers must return parts requested by Isuzu to the CV Warranty Parts Center using the prepaid shipping labels provided by Isuzu. See the Freight Reimbursement section for details. The CV Warranty Parts Center process is used to obtain parts replaced by Isuzu Dealerships and Isuzu Engine Certified Service Centers (excluding Canada) to enable Isuzu to perform root cause analysis of customer product concerns. The CV Warranty Parts Center issues part return requests to the dealerships/service centeres to obtain the desired parts. Dealers/service centers must return the requested parts to the CV Warranty Parts Center so that it is received within 20 days of notification of the request. Failure to comply with the request may result in partial or complete chargeback of the claim associated with the request. Chargebacks for non-returned parts are processed automatically by the CV Warranty Parts Center computer systems. To ensure compliance with these requirements and avoid a chargeback situation, it is highly recommended that an individual (and a back-up person) be assigned the task of processing these requests as quickly as possible.
